6. Rules That Prevent Wrong-Element Deliveries
- Order three numbers, not one. Servicing the hydraulic side of a 320D-family machine means the pilot, case drain and return elements together — one order, one freight.
- Read the number off the old element. Machine badges lie after a rebuild, and used machines from Africa and the Gulf frequently carry mixed-generation components. Photograph the element next to a tape measure.
