One opening, three noses
The 40 mm lip opening is what identifies this shank class, and it is also where ordering goes wrong. Wear-parts lists print three adapter numbers for the same opening on the same machines: 1171-01620, the vertical pair 14530543 and 14400986 at 11.30 kg, and the bevel 14732592 at 11.70 kg. The tooth 14530544 fits all of them. The weld preparation, the nose angle and the strap pattern do not match, so a shank bought against the wrong number will need grinding to sit on the lip.

Fitting notes
Weld with the tooth and pin trial-fitted, not after. The pin line has to end up parallel to the lip so the retainer seats by hand; a nose set half a degree out will hold the tooth until the first rock job and then start spitting pins. For buckets being re-edged, order the side cutters 14652623 left and 14652622 right at 12.70 kg each and the lip protector 14528355 at 2.10 kg in the same shipment — the freight is the same either way, and a shank without a cutter on the corner wears out the new teeth on the front only.
