Most ZX200 tooth enquiries start with a photo of a worn tooth, the words "Hitachi ZX200", and the expectation of one answer. There isn't one: buckets in this 20-tonne class get re-lipped and re-adapted over their working life, so what left the factory proves nothing about what is bolted on now.
Hitachi's own parts list for the ZX200-220 class makes the reason plain — it does not pick one tooth, it carries both families, with their different pins, locks and adapters, side by side.

Look at the first two rows. 205-70-19570 is a Komatsu number — the standard PC200 dirt tooth, held there by side pin 092-44-02496 — and Hitachi lists it for ZX200-220 as well. 35S is the Hitachi system size for the same class, held from above by a lock pin and rubber lock.
That explains most of the confusion here: when one dealer quotes a "ZX200 tooth" as a 35S and another quotes 205-70-19570, both may be reading a Hitachi list. It also explains why aftermarket sellers cross the same numbers the other way — catalogue listings for the Hitachi adapter 20Y-934-2211 call it a PC200/PC210 shank as well. In this family the numbers travel; the castings do not.

The practical difference is the lock. A 35S tooth drops onto the nose and is held by a pin pressed down through the top of the casting with a rubber lock over it; a 205-70-19570 tooth is held by a horizontal pin through the side. Vertical pin hole in your old tooth and adapter: 35S system. Horizontal: not.

5. Order the Lock With the Tooth
The 35S system is unforgiving about hardware: the tooth is held only by pin 4501627 and rubber lock 4501625. Miss the lock, or fit a perished one, and the pin walks out on the first hard shift, taking a piece of the adapter nose with it — a hardware order turns into a welding job.
Two habits from container experience: price one pin and one lock per tooth, because a quote for teeth alone is not a working order; and bag each family separately with the system on the label, because 35S and 205-70-19570 tips look close enough in a photo that a fitter will try one on the other nose.
6. Adapters and Side Cutters Travel With the System
Hitachi's list gives three weld-on adapters for the ZX200-220 class — 20Y-934-2211, V29 and F3610T-35 — and two side cutters, 2014503 and 2014504. Adapter and cutter numbers belong to the system you are running, so a converted bucket can carry a mix: 20Y-934-2211 under the centre teeth, V29-type corners.
This is why we ask for the adapter photo, not only the machine model: on a re-lipped machine the adapter is the newest evidence of what the bucket is, and it decides whether a box of 35S points fits or you need the side-pinned family. Corner adapters and cutters wear faster than the centre — check them in the same inspection and avoid paying freight twice.
