Most Doosan tooth enquiries read the same way: "I need teeth for a DX225." That one line usually gets the right answer, and every so often it gets the wrong one — because the DX225 has been in service long enough to appear in more than one parts list under more than one tooth number. Both numbers are real Doosan systems. They sit one size class apart, and only the bucket in front of you says which one you have.
The DX225 tooth system, part by part
The DX225, DX225LC and DX225LCA buckets we see take the S220-5 / DH220-5 ground engaging tools. The tooth is 2713-1217, the pin is 2705-1020 with the lock 2114-9008, and the shank it seats on is the weld-on adapter 2713-1218.
| Component | Part number | Catalogue notes |
|---|---|---|
| Standard tooth | 2713-1217 | About 5.1 kg in one wear-parts catalogue (sand cast); the RC and TL profiles share the same pin |
| Rock chisel tooth | 2713-1217RC | Quoted between 4.5 kg and 7.2 kg depending on the supplier's variant (RC-2, RC-3, RC-4), plus RCX at about 7.2 kg |
| Tiger long tooth | 2713-1217TL | 6.3-6.5 kg, single or double side |
| Long, general purpose | K9005349 | 5.3 kg; the same catalogues list it for ZX200-5G machines, a crossover worth knowing about |
| Pin | 2705-1020 (also written 2705-9012) | Quoted as 19-20 mm diameter × 105 mm long, about 0.26-0.30 kg |
| Lock / retainer | 2114-9008 (also written 2114-1848) | About 0.05 kg |
| Weld-on adapter | 2713-1218 — 35 mm and 40 mm gap | 7.6 kg (40 mm) to 8.5 kg (35 mm) in one list, with an HD version at 9.3-10.1 kg |
| Same adapter, other number | 3T1218 — 35 mm gap | About 8.3 kg; the number used in the Solar 220LC / DH220 adapter listings |
| Older DH220 shank | 2713-9042 — 35 mm bevel / 40 mm vertical | 10.0-10.6 kg, paired with the older tooth 2713-9041 |
The fitment lists that print "DH220 / S220-5 / S200W-5 / S225-5 / DX210W / DX225LC / DX225LCA" on a single row are not being sloppy. It is one tooth, and the rows exist because the machine names changed while the GET did not.
The DX225LCA in numbers
Worth setting down, because a tooth is chosen against machine weight and bucket size — not the model name alone. Doosan's own DX225LCA-7M brochure gives the machine as follows.
| Specification | Doosan published figure |
|---|---|
| Operating weight | 21,500 kg (47,399 lb) |
| Bucket capacity (SAE / PCSA) | 0.51 - 1.51 m³ (0.67 - 1.98 yd³) |
| Engine | Doosan DB58TIS in-house mechanical engine |
| Engine power | 115 kW (154 HP) gross at 1,900 rpm / 110 kW (148 HP) net at 1,900 rpm |
| Main pump | 2 × 206.5 L/min |
| Previous model | Solar 225LC |
| Bucket option | "Advanced H-class bucket" with GD (general duty), HD (heavy duty) and SD (severe duty) tooth options and redesigned side cutters |
Two lines in that sheet matter to a tooth order. The machine is the same 21.5-tonne class as the DH220 it followed, which is why the ground engaging tools carried over unchanged. And the brochure's H-class bucket is offered with GD, HD and SD teeth plus new side cutters — but it prints no tooth part numbers at all. That gap is precisely where the two catalogue answers come from.
Why a Doosan DX225 carries a DH220 tooth number
Doosan says it plainly in the brochure: the DX225LCA "has all the advantages of the previous model, the Solar 225LC." The machine was renumbered and the badges changed; the bucket hardware on the 21.5-tonne class did not. So a DX225-5, DX225LC or DX225LCA running a general purpose bucket around 0.9-1.0 m³ takes the DH220-5 tooth 2713-1217, and a supplier working from aftermarket fitment lists will send exactly that.
Older buckets add one more wrinkle. The previous DH220 tooth, 2713-9041 standard or 2713-9041RC rock, sits on the 2713-9042 adapter and still appears in DX225 fitment rows. Same pin, same lock — that much the catalogue rows agree on. The shank castings are not the same part, so if your bucket still carries 2713-9042 adapters, send a photo of the shank nose with the order rather than assuming the newer tooth drops on.
The second answer: the DH300-class tooth
Search the same machine at a different supplier and you will meet 230111-00090. That number cross-references to 713-00054 and the 2713-1219 family — the tooth catalogues fit to the DH280, DH300 and S290-5 class, quoted at 7.3-8.0 kg, running on pin 2705-9010 (22 mm × 109 mm) with retainer 2114-1849 and the 2713-1220 adapter in 40 and 50 mm gaps. At least one distributor lists it for the DX225LCA alongside the Solar 255LCV.
We are not going to claim one of those two numbers is a typo and the other is gospel — we cannot prove that from the outside, and the Doosan brochure does not settle it because it never prints the tooth part numbers. What we can tell you is mechanical: a 22 mm pin does not enter a pocket bored for 20 mm, and a 50 mm gap does not close on a nose built for 40 mm. Order off the model plate alone and you are tossing a coin on the size class.
Settle it on the bucket: five measurements
- Pin diameter and length. Pull one pin and caliper it. 19-20 mm × 105 mm means the DX225 / DH220 system (2713-1217). 22 mm × 109 mm means the DH300 system (2713-1219).
- Lock number. 2114-9008 belongs to the smaller pin; 2114-1849 belongs to the larger one. If the lock on the bucket is stamped 2114-1849, you are holding a DH300-class assembly.
- Adapter gap. 35 or 40 mm takes 2713-1218, or the older 2713-9042. 40 or 50 mm takes 2713-1220.
- Tooth weight. Around 5 kg standard points to the lighter system, around 7.5 kg to the heavier one. Weigh a worn tooth — it is the fastest check in the yard.
- Bucket photo. One square-on photo of the lip with a tape measure across two adapters. That single frame has caught more mis-orders for us than any part number on an enquiry.
Which profile to order
Inside the DX225 system the pin does not change with the profile, which makes mixed sets simple: standard 2713-1217 for general digging in soil, sand and gravel; RC rock chisel for broken rock and concrete; TL tiger long where you need penetration and the tip is expected to wear narrow. Corners wear faster than the centre, so most buckets here go out with RC or TL on the two outer positions and standard teeth in between, on one pin number for the whole set.
On quality, two figures are worth putting in writing on the enquiry. Teeth in this family are normally quoted at 48-52 HRC on the wear grade with an impact value above 20 J, and one forging supplier quotes the 2705-1020 pin at 40Cr, 52-58 HRC, impact above 22 J. Ask for both numbers before you commit a container, and trial a set before you commit a year. Cast weight wanders by a kilo between catalogues because suppliers weigh bare castings or packed parts — treat it as freight maths, never as a fitment specification.
Send the machine model and serial prefix, the old tooth number or a photo of it, the pin measurement, the adapter gap, and how many pieces you need per position to sales@cn-machinery.com or WhatsApp +86 136 1161 8158. We supply aftermarket GET cross-referenced to the Doosan numbers — not genuine Doosan parts — and we quote teeth, pins, locks and adapters as one line so nothing arrives missing. We do not publish prices on this page: the quote depends on the profile mix, the cast grade, how many pins and locks go with the teeth and the shipping lane.
FAQ
What bucket tooth fits a Doosan DX225?
2713-1217, held with pin 2705-1020 and lock 2114-9008, on the 2713-1218 weld-on adapter in a 35 or 40 mm gap. That is the set most parts lists print for the DH220 / S220-5 / DX225 family, and it is what the DX225LC and DX225LCA buckets carry in the listings we cross-checked. Some lists instead quote 230111-00090 for the DX225LCA, which cross-references to the 2713-1219 DH300-class tooth on a 22 mm pin. Measure the pin: 19-20 mm is the DX225 system, 22 mm is the DH300 system.
What pin does the 2713-1217 tooth take?
2705-1020, also written 2705-9012, quoted at 19-20 mm diameter and 105 mm long at roughly 0.26-0.30 kg, with lock 2114-9008 (also written 2114-1848). Rock chisel and tiger long profiles use the same pin, so one pin number covers a mixed set of standard, RC and TL teeth.
Is the 2713-1218 adapter the same as 3T1218?
Yes. 3T1218 is the same weld-on adapter in the 35 mm gap, listed at about 8.3 kg. The older DH220 adapter 2713-9042 is a different casting, sold as a 35 mm bevel or a 40 mm vertical and quoted at 10.0-10.6 kg. Confirm the gap width on your own bucket rather than the number on the old adapter.
Can I fit the bigger DH300 tooth on a Doosan DX225 bucket?
No. The 2713-1219 tooth runs on a 22 mm pin (2705-9010) with retainer 2114-1849 and the 2713-1220 adapter in 40 or 50 mm gaps, so it will not pin onto a 2713-1218 adapter. If you are digging rock and want longer wear life, stay inside the DX225 system and move to the RC or TL profile, or rebuild the bucket with the heavier adapters.
